Near Protocol Ex-Employee Apologizes to GF for leaking Nudes
Near issued a formal apology, saying it took full responsibility and removed the video from its platform. Krynin reacted with two very different posts.
A former Near Protocol employee accidentally showed nude images while sharing his screen during a public livestream leading to a minor increase in the value of the native token NEAR.
Andrew Krynin, an ex-business development manager, was on a call with Near core contributor Cameron Dennis when the images briefly appeared, revealing some of his saved files.

Krynin remarked, “The only thing that I wanted to say next was, uh… God damn it.” He paused his screen sharing after two seconds. This unexpected incident happened just before Valentine’s Day, and the clips of the livestream quickly spread on X. Following this, the native token NEAR has shown a price pump of about 7% and reached $3.5.

After this, Teading Near Protocol gave some advice on X , “Use one laptop for personal stuff and another for work and crypto. Keep your private keys—and other things—secure.”
Later, Near issued a formal apology, saying it took full responsibility and removed the video from its platform. Krynin reacted with two very different posts. In the first, he said that if people made memecoins, they should share some with him because he needed a big Valentine’s Day peace offering.
Ten hours later, he apologized only to his girlfriend, calling himself an idiot who messed up. He reassured others that she is his girlfriend, she’s a 10, and he “always slays.”
He added, “For all the women, him having your naked photos on his laptop doesn’t mean he is disrespectful, it means he really likes you, please don’t overthink it especially on a Valentine’s Day.”
